Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi came to Varanasi for the first time in 1902. He himself has written about this incident in his autobiography.
From Gandhi’s description of Varanasi, there is no doubt that the spirit of Muslim appeasement lay at the core of Gandhi’s philosophy.
Later, this Muslim appeasement became the reason for the massacre of lakhs of Hindus and displacement of crores.
One thing is clear that if silent acceptance is considered as consent then Gandhi will definitely be called a supporter of Islamic terrorism.
Throughout his life, Gandhi rarely saw Islamic imperialism as India’s problem, even though the Islamic state was undoubtedly worse than the British Empire.
According to Gandhi, his writing is a self-discovery, a realization of God, and salvation, But this writing contains another element — complete surrender to Islamic imperialism.
Didn’t Gandhi’s complete dedication to Islamic imperialism later become the reason for the massacre of millions of Hindus and exploitation of Hindu women?
Gandhi’s visit to Varanasi

Gandhi has clearly written in his autobiography that there were two reasons why he visited Varanasi in 1902.
- He had decided to visit Vishwanath Temple, one of the most sacred temples of Hindus located in Varanasi.
- Meeting Annie Besant, the great scholar and patriot who lived in Varanasi, as she was ill in those days.

The experience of the sacred temple of Hindus was one of the most bitter experiences of Gandhi’s life.
Reason: Disorganization of the temple. According to Gandhi, the environment around the temple was dirty, the street of the temple was slippery, flies were buzzing all around, there was a huge crowd of travelers and the atmosphere was full of noise.
Gyanvapi means well of knowledge. The water of this well was considered very sacred, Hindus have believed for centuries that the water of this well has the properties to cure many diseases.
Upon entering the temple, Gandhi found the atmosphere inside the temple even more depressing. From Gandhi’s description of the temple, it appears that Gandhi was desirous of a peaceful environment inside the temple, so that he could meditate here, worship God .
Gandhi also found the behavior of the temple priest to be short-tempered.
There was nothing wrong in this. What Gandhi saw was true and the situation of the Vishwanath temple was like this till recent years.
Now the temple has been expanded by the government under the Vishwanath temple Corridor project.
But Gandhi remained mysteriously silent on the historical reason behind all this chaos.
Gandhi not even wrote a single word on this subject, and this is on of the many incidents which raises doubts in the kinds of people about the Gandhian philosophy.
Things which are self-evident need no proof.
The Gyanvapi mosque was constructed by Aurangzeb after demolishing the Vishwanath temple.
Even today the remains of the temple can be seen clearly. It seems surprising that when Gandhi came to this place, he would undoubtedly have seen it and felt the suffering of a natural Hindu, Gandhi completely ignored this crime of Islamic rule, he did not even dare to discuss it.
Gandhi’s philosophy has always been at the forefront in covering up Islamic crimes; Gandhi, an advocate of Islamic imperialism, was opposed to British imperialism. This seems to show that according to Gandhi’s philosophy there are two types of imperialism.

Gandhi and his followers will decide who is good and who is bad, and the entire Hindu society will follow it, any Hindu who opposes this will be considered violent. Probably many of the revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country were against Gandhi’s submission to Islamic fundamentalism.
The Vishwanath temple of Varanasi was demolished by the cruel, fanatical Muslim ruler Aurangzeb. The construction work of a new temple was completed by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar at a very limited place nearby. This was the main reason for the disrepair of the temple.
Not only this, the first temples in Varanasi were demolished in 1194, mosques were built on top of the temples from their debris, countless Hindus gave their lives to save their culture and civilization. Gandhi marginalized the centuries-long struggle of Hindus.
It was Gandhi’s habit to blame Hindus for every Islamic crime as well; the Gandhian era, the climax of Muslim appeasement, was yet to come. The next 45 years of Indian history were dedicated to Gandhi’s philosophy.
Gandhi’s philosophy proved to be dwarf in front of Muslim League, Gandhi’s philosophy was trampled under the feet of the makers of Pakistan and thrown in the garbage. Gandhi’s philosophy based on hollow idealism became the reason for the massacre of millions of Hindus and neither Gandhi nor his followers accepted this truth. .
